East Greenville is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in the southeastern part of the state, approximately 45 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The borough has a total area of 0.8 square miles and a population of approximately 2,900 people. The area was first settled in the early 18th century and was incorporated as a borough in 1879. East Greenville is known for its small-town charm, historic homes, and close proximity to outdoor recreational areas such as the Perkiomen Trail. The town also hosts a number of community events throughout the year, including the annual East Greenville Fire Company Carnival and the July 4th Fireworks Celebration.
